<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide useful information on power consumption in an upper process in designing an integrated circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A computer executes the following processes: reading data showing the execution procedure of processing steps to be executed by each function unit in the integrated circuit; reading a coefficient for each of the processing steps; calculating a power consumption index value on the basis of the coefficient for the processing step included in unit procedures obtained by dividing the execution procedure into a plurality of units; and outputting the index value for each unit procedure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
