<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology by which power consumption is reduced when controlling display/non-display of an arbitrary area in a display device. <P>SOLUTION: A drive circuit comprises: a shift register circuit that successively outputs a first to n-th (n≤2) shift pulses; and an n-number of first to j-th (j≤2) transistors in which the first to n-th shift pulses output from the shift resistor circuit are applied to the corresponding gates; and a (j×n) number of signal line scanning circuits. Based on the first to n-th shift pulses output from the shift register circuit, the first to j-th transistors sample the first to j-th scanning line drive clocks, and output them as scanning voltages for the first to (j×n)-th scanning lines. Based on the first to n-th shift pulses output from the shift resistor circuit, an AC signal, an inversion AC signal, and the transfer clock, each signal line scanning circuit outputs a predetermined voltage for the first to (j×n)-th signal lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
