<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe for a CFT column in which an air stagnation is hardly formed on the underside of a diaphragm. <P>SOLUTION: A steel pipe for a CFT column is used in combination with ultra-high strength concrete having the design strength of 120 N/mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more. The steel pipe comprises a cylindrical outer shell 1 having a concrete injection port 1a, diaphragms 2 disposed on a column-beam joint part J above the concrete injection port 1a, partition parts 3 disposed under the column-beam joint part J, and horizontal members 4 disposed along the partition parts 3. The partition parts 3 have an opening 3a penetrating vertically and are jointed to the inner peripheral surface of the outer shell 1.
