<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package capable of maintaining a superior packaged state of a food-containing container by the package and preventing deformation of the food-containing container during heating of its content. <P>SOLUTION: The package 10 includes: a packaging base material 12 formed of a band-like heat-shrinkable film having heat shrinkability wrapped around the food-containing container W for packaging the container by shrinking; a cutout row 20A disposed in a direction orthogonal to a molecular orientation direction of the packaging base material 12 to be openable in the shrinking direction of the packaging base material 12; and an opening and closing piece 18 formed of the heat-shrinkable film, in which one end is a fixed end 16 fixed at an end of the packaging base material 12, and the other end is disposed to be a free end 12a, capable of closing the cutout row 20A during non-heating and exposing the opened cutout row 20A to the outside during heating.
