An input device for a mobile terminal is disclosed herein. The input device may include a keypad having a plurality of buttons, a printed circuit board provided below the keypad to convert an input on the keypad to an electric signal, at least one light source configured to illuminate the keypad, and a light guide film provided between the keypad and the printed circuit board. The at least one light source may be positioned to emit light toward a light receiving surface positioned at a lateral surface of the light guide film. A height of the light receiving surface may be formed to be greater than a thickness of the light guide film. Accordingly, illumination of the keypad may be increased without increasing the overall thickness of the light guide film or the body of a mobile terminal. |
