The shaping unit is formed in an annular manner, and defines a machining center. The braided fabric is incrementally formed from its external periphery within the machining center. The shaping unit is rotatable around its machining center. The shaping unit is provided with a movable plunger (10). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber component.
