<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assemblability when a control mechanism which can supplement insufficiency of an operating force during operation of an emergency brake is attached to a valve piston, in a negative pressure type booster. <P>SOLUTION: The negative pressure type booster includes an end member 72 arranged between an input member (41) and a reaction member 73 to receive a reaction from the reaction member 73 and the control mechanism 80 for controlling the movement of the end member 72. The control mechanism 80 includes an annular case 81 having the accommodating hole 81a of the end member 72 and attached between the valve piston 30 and the reaction member 73, an engaging member 82 attached to the annular case 81 so as to be diametrically movable and urged inward in the diametrical direction by a spring 83 to control the movement of the end member 72 in accordance with an amount of a forward movement of the input member (41) relative to the valve piston 30 and a rod shaped transmitting member 84 attached to the valve piston 30, moving forward and backward in accordance with the diametrical movement of the engaging member 82 and pressed by a key member 71 when the valve piston 30 is returned to an original position to return the engaging member 82 to an initial position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
