<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas holder which requires less strength of a cover sheet than before and is easy and inexpensive to construct, and to provide a methane gas recovery system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The gas holder 1 for use at an upper part of a water tank that accommodates wastewater containing anaerobic organic matters includes: a gas impermeable cover sheet 2 having a skirt part 2a at an end that extends to a water surface in the water tank, and stores methane gas generated from the wastewater inside; a wire 3 that supports the cover sheet; and a venting pipe 4 that is hung from the cover sheet and emits the extra gas externally when the gas pressure in the cover sheet increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
