<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for tracking a strip on a hot run table, by which the error of positional information occurring when a short strip is passed through the hot run table can be reduced and the error of strip information occurring by slip in a pinch roll just before a coiler can be eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: In a tracking device for the hot run table in a rolling line including cooling equipment 15 on the hot run table 12 in a hot finish rolling line, a plurality of non-contact type plate speedometers 1-N installed along the plate passing direction are provided at an interval shorter than the length of the shortest strip of the strips which are likely to be passed between a final stand F of the hot finish rolling line and the coiler 13, and tracking control of cooling equipment 16 or the like is performed by properly switching and inputting the plate speed signals to be output from the plate speedometer having newly detected the passage of a strip, among the plurality of the plate speedometers 1-N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
