<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor of which the reduction in sealability is suppressed by preventing the reduction in smoothness of a seal surface of a case and deformation of an outer shape of the seal surface, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure sensor includes a sensor part for detecting a pressure of a pressure medium, a terminal connected to the sensor part, the case which houses the sensor part and the terminal, and a housing having a pressure introduction hole formed therein and has the case built in the housing so that a portion of the sensor part exposed from the case is disposed in the pressure introduction hole and the pressure introduction hole is closed with the case. The case has a cylindrical cup and a resin part filled in the cup, and a connection portion between the sensor part and the terminal is covered with the resin part, and a portion of the sensor part exposed from the resin part is exposed through an opening on the pressure introduction hole side of the cup, and the cup is made of a single material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
