PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set at least one between a transmission condition of a transmission signal and a reception condition of reception signals.

SOLUTION: A wide band radar device includes: a transmission part 20 for transmitting the transmission signal to a target by transmission through a shield; reception parts 30, each of which receives the transmission signal reflected against at least the shield between the shield and the target as the reception signal; and a setting part 60 for setting at least one between the condition to transmit the transmission signal by the transmission part and the condition to receive the reception signals by the reception parts, based on the reception signal.
