<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden on a mechanical mechanism and to extend an effective measurement range, in an imaging apparatus which measures millimeter waves radiated or reflected from a target object by a sensor composed of an antenna, an amplifier, etc., to perform imaging. <P>SOLUTION: Sensor groups 124A and 124B are disposed on a rotating surface of a rotating object 121. By rotating the rotating object 121, the sensor group 124A scans a first subject image IM1 formed in an effective range 1 by a dielectric lens 110 to acquire signals of respective pixels of the subject image IM1. By rotating the rotating object 121, the sensor group 124B scans a second subject image IM2 formed in an effective range 2 by the dielectric lens 110 and a reflecting plate 126 to acquire signals of respective pixels of the subject image IM2. In comparison with the prior art, in which scanning is achieved by moving a reflecting plate, the burden on the mechanical mechanism can be reduced.
