<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable, by coupling photographing results of image sensors disposed at a plurality of different positions, capturing of a multiband image even under a situation where a subject or a camera is moving or a situation where an illumination environment is varying, without using any special optical system. <P>SOLUTION: An image input apparatus includes: first imaging means for capturing a reference image of a subject; second imaging means which has an optical filter having predetermined spectral transmissivity and captures a spectral information image of the subject; corresponding point detecting means for searching for a corresponding point between the reference image and the spectral information image obtained by the first and second imaging means, and determining an image deformation parameter for matching a viewpoint position of the spectral information image with a viewpoint position of the reference image based on the principle of triangulation; image deformation processing means for performing deformation processing of the spectral information image based on an image deformation parameter; and image output means for outputting, as a multiband image, the reference image and the spectral information image for which image deformation has been performed by the image deformation processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
