<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a PDP that effectively prevents or reduces peeling of a dielectric layer of a front plate. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the method of manufacturing the plasma display panel by arranging the front plate which has an electrode A, a dielectric layer A and a protection layer formed on a substrate A and a back plate which has an electrode B, a dielectric layer B, barrier ribs and a phosphor layer formed on a substrate B opposite each other, the method being characterized in that the electrode A comprises a transparent electrode and a bus electrode, the bus electrode is formed using a raw material containing a glass material, and formation of the dielectric layer A which is carried out after the formation of the bus electrode includes (i) a process of forming a dielectric material layer by supplying a dielectric material including a glass component, silica particles and an organic solvent onto the substrate A so as to cover the bus electrode, and (ii) a process of forming the dielectric layer A by heat-treating the dielectric material layer, a heating temperature of the dielectric material being equal to or higher than a softening point of the glass material of the bus electrode and lower than a softening point of the substrate A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
