The method involves defining two measuring time points by an electronic controlling and/or evaluating unit (30), and initializing a counting variable. Two angle values are determined in the measuring time points, and a difference value of the angle values is produced. The variable is increased by a counter value, and the angle values determining step is executed when the difference value is larger than a threshold value. A sum of the angle values is determined, and an angular position is defined when the difference value is less than or equal to the threshold value.
