LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY POSITIVE ELECTRODE AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery having high capacity and excellent in load characteristics and charge/discharge cycle characteristics, and a lithium secondary battery positive electrode for constituting the lithium secondary battery.

SOLUTION: A lithium secondary battery positive electrode includes a positive electrode mixture layer containing at least a positive electrode active material and a conductive assistant on one surface or the both surfaces of a collector. The lithium secondary battery positive electrode contains a lithium-containing complex oxide as the positive electrode active material, and contains carbon fibers as the conductive assistant, the carbon fibers having an average fiber length of 10 nm or more and less than 1,000 nm and an average fiber diameter of 1 nm to 100 nm. The content of the carbon fibers in the positive electrode mixture layer is 0.25-1.5 mass%. The problems are dissolved by the lithium secondary battery positive electrode and a lithium secondary battery having the lithium secondary battery positive electrode.
