<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition that can improve flame retardancy and external damage resistance of an insulated wire, an insulated wire, a wire harness, and a cable. <P>SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition contains: a polyolefin resin including an ethylenic polymer containing an oxygen atom in the molecular skeleton; metal hydroxide particles; alkyl β-carboxy acrylate deposited on the surface of the metal hydroxide particle; and a polyorganosiloxane, wherein the metal hydroxide particle and the alkyl β-carboxy acrylate are contained at the ratio of 20-50 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the polyolefin resin, and the polyorganosiloxane is contained at the ratio of 2-10 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the polyolefin resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
