<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side seal for a linear guide device including an integral seal lip made of rubber or thermoplastic elastomer, capable of finely adjusting pressing amount of the seal lip and pressing a distal end part of the seal lip on all surfaces of an upper surface and both side surfaces of a guide rail without clearance. <P>SOLUTION: This side seal includes a pressing member for independently pressing the seal lip 41 on each of the upper surface and both the side surfaces of the guide rail 1. An oblique surface 44a is provided at a base end part 41b of the seal lip 41, an oblique surface 42c of the same inclination is provided in an outside plate 42, and both of the oblique surfaces 44a and 42c are brought into contact with each other. By fastening a screw 45 passing through the outside plate 42, the pressing amount on the upper surface and both the side surfaces of the guide rail 1 of the seal lip 41 can be independently adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
