<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit powdery conveying object from flowing to a detection part at a burst and from being incorrectly detected at the detection part, even in the case or the like where a whole developer storage box is tilted. <P>SOLUTION: A casing part is partitioned in the conveyance direction into multiple spaces 39C by partition walls 39B, and communication ports 39D for making neighboring spaces communicate with each other are provided at the respective partition walls 39B. Multiple flange parts 39H, which are rotationally displaced by a rotation of an auger 39E, are provided at the positions facing the respective communication ports 39D. Whichever rotation position the auger 39E lies in, the multiple flange parts 39H make any of the communication ports 39D blocked. Even in the case or the like where a whole developer storage box 30 is tilted, developer is inhibited from flowing to a detection part 37 at a burst through the communication ports 39D and from being incorrectly detected at the detection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
