<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking jig for thermal spraying, which enables reuse after securing the quality of a sprayed coating to a desired section of a workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The masking jig 1a for thermal spraying makes an inner surface (masking surface), which is formed cylindrical and to which spray particles are sprayed, rough to be an uneven surface 5, and coats the uneven surface 5 with a DLC coating 6, thereby enabling the reuse of the masking jig 1a for thermal spraying after securing the quality of the sprayed coating 23 on the cylinder bore inner surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
