<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transceiver capable of optimally configuring characteristics depending on noise detection values and a method of controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transceiver 1 includes a noise detection section 14 for detecting power supply noise. This noise detection result is fed back to a control section 13. Depending on the noise detection result, it is possible to provide optical settings such as a data determination threshold of a reception-side electrical waveform reproduction section 22 of an optical reception circuit 11 as well as a laser diode driving current of an optical transmitter 31 of an optical transmission circuit 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
