PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user of information in an easily perceivable manner without causing the user any botheration.

SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle, includes: a vehicle information acquisition device 102 for acquiring a variety of information that is obtained from a vehicle; a light-emitting unit 101 for emitting light with changing the brightness or color phase of the light based on a preset prescribed temporal frequency so as to inform a user of the information acquired by the vehicle information acquisition device 102; and a controller 103 for controlling and changing the brightness or color phase of the light in the light-emitting unit 101.
