<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overtube that is easily and reliably anchored in the celomic cavity. <P>SOLUTION: The overtube 11 includes: a flexible tubular portion 21 having an insertion channel into which an endoscope 13 is inserted; and a plurality of balloons 24, 25 that are axially loaded at diverse positions on an outer surface of the flexible tubular portion 21. Dilation diameters and mounting positions of the balloons 24, 25 are determined based on diameter and position of the celomic cavity or the luminal of a test object where the plurality of balloons 24, 25 are anchored.
