<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system that can enlarge/contract a preview image at a high speed and can also maintain image quality of the generated preview image at a high level. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system includes a hard disk drive (HDD) 172 for memorizing a medium-resolution preview image 326 and a low-resolution image 322, a preview image generation section 342 for generating and displaying a low-resolution preview image 324 from the image 322 by responding to a user's operation, a low-resolution image processing section 360 for displaying the preview by expanding or contracting the image 322 by responding to an instruction for expanding or contracting the displayed preview image, and a medium-resolution image processing section 362 for expanding or contracting and then displaying the image 326 on a display device in place of the preview image displayed by the low-resolution image processing section 360 when the instruction is given. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
