The present invention relates to a production method for a spherical carrier for an olefin polymerization catalyst and to a solid catalyst produced using the carrier as well as to a propylene polymer produced using the solid catalyst. Provided are: a carrier production method capable of being used in the production of a propylene polymer catalyst, wherein a dialkoxy magnesium carrier is produced by using a nitrogen-halogen compound as a reaction initiator during a reaction between metallic magnesium and an alcohol, and adjusting the initial reaction temperature to between 20 and 25°C and the maturation temperature to between 55 and 65°C; an olefin polymerization solid catalyst produced using the carrier produced as outlined above; and a propylene polymer having a high apparent density produced by using the solid catalyst.
