Provided is a diesel particulate filter (DPF) system wherein clogging of the DPF is suppressed to improve convenience. The DPF system has a particulate matter (PM) deposition quantity estimation means (6) for estimating the PM deposition quantity in an idling state, and a long idling time forced regeneration unit (5) for performing a long idling time forced regeneration in which a diesel particulate filter (12b) is automatically regenerated when the PM deposition quantity estimated by the PM deposition quantity estimation means (6) exceeds a predetermined quantity. The long idling time forced regeneration unit (5) is configured so that, when a vehicle begins driving during a long idling time forced regeneration, the diesel particulate filter (12b) is automatically regenerated while the vehicle drives.
