PURPOSE: A system and a method for vertically calculating the liquid water content of clouds with respect to the entire sky are provided to accurately implement a calculating process. CONSTITUTION: A system for vertically calculating the liquid water content of clouds with respect to the entire sky includes a vertical radiometer, a vertical rainfall radar(300), a satellite cloud altitude inputting part, and a central controlling part. The vertical radiometer and the vertical rainfall radar measure the liquid water content of the cloud. The satellite cloud altitude inputting part measures the altitude of the cloud.
