The present disclosure generally relates to a hair dryer (1) comprising a protective grill (2) having a composition deposited thereon, or present therein, for conditioning hair. More particularly, the conditioning composition comprises a cross-linked siloxane polymer and a silicone conditioning agent. Operation of the hair dryer (1) initiates emission and transfer of the conditioning agent from the protective grill (2) onto the hair surface of a user thereof.
