The device comprises a welding wire feeder device, a welding gas supply device, and a burner head (12), where a burner tube (8) is rigidly connected to the burner head and a welding wire nozzle of the burner head is eccentrically positioned with respect to the central axis of the burner tube. The burner tube has half the length of the processed steam generator tube. The welding wire and welding gas of a welding device (6) are bound to the burner head through the burner tube. The burner head is rotatably mounted around the central axis of the burner tube.
