<p>The invention relates to a system of submerged sills made of geo-textile containers of various shapes, meant to be used for maintaining and raising a river valley floor level and to a process for making said sills. According to the invention, the system comprises a resilient mattress (2) placed downstream the piers of a bridge (1), having the role of supporting a sill (3) made of two or three geo-tubes and of forming a water stilling basin (4) after flowing over the sill (3) in a turbulence zone, a stilling sill (5) and a rear apron zone (6), where, in order to prevent erosion of river banks and to ensure stability thereof, revetment is made of some overlapping bags (7) which are about 80% filled with local material and then are in-situ closed by sewing. The process claimed by the invention consists, in a first stage, in positioning a micro floating dredge with its sucker in the zone of dredging of a solid material, then connection is made between a system of pumping the solid material and a floating platform used for launching some geo-textile containers to the preset positions through a pressure tubing whose path is ensured by a system of floats, a resilient mattress being launched in the next stage and a conduit for filling with solid material being coupled to an injection orifice and, when filling is completed the injection orifices are secured and, after embedding a geo-tube representing the bottom sill into the bank, it is gradually launched and is firstly filled with water, after which the solid material is pumped through the injection orifices wherethrough there is also performed the discharge of excess water and finally, when the geo-tube is filled in a ratio of about 80% with solid material, it is secured by closing the injection orifices.</p> |
