<p>The segment (1c) has a conductor (3c) including a tubular base cross section in a longitudinal direction (Z). A channel (13) is arranged in a longitudinal section, and crosswise penetrates the conductor from an input region (14) to an output region (15) relative to the longitudinal direction. The channel is arranged in the conductor such that convection flow of isolating gas (8) i.e. sulfur hexafluoride, is guided through the channel and automatically adjusted by a direction component, which concerns an operating direction of gravity force (10) during nominal operation of the assembly. An independent claim is also included for a method for cooling a current conductor of a gas-isolated high voltage switching system segment with an electrical phase.</p> |
