<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fluid supplying body of a balloon catheter excellent in maneuverability in which an operator can perform extension operation for the desired balloon diameter without knowing the relation between the amount of fluid injection and a balloon dilation diameter and can also perform the delicate establishment of the amount of an injection fluid. <P>SOLUTION: Three fitting recesses 42a, 42b, and 42c are juxtaposed along the direction of the axis of a piston 24 in the inside surface of the cylindrical member 23 of the fluid supplying body 22, at least one projection portion 41 is projected onto the circumference face of the piston 24, a concavo-convex fitting unit is prepared, which carries out concavo-convex fitting between any one of the three fitting recesses 42a, 42b, and 42c of the cylindrical member 23 and the projection portion 41 of the piston 24, to position the piston 24 within the cylindrical member 23, so that the amount of a fluid poured into a balloon 3 can be controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
