摘要

PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display apparatus is provided to reduce the area of a black image by diffusing light projected from a PR(Patterned Retarder) layer through a diffusion layer, thereby improving the display quality of a three-dimensional image. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(110) displays an image. A PR(Patterned Retarder) layer(170) projects light displayed on the liquid crystal panel by delaying the with polarization. A glass substrates(160) protects the PR layer by being placed on the PR layer. A diffusion layer(180) diffuses the light projected from the PR layer by being placed on the upper part of the PR layer. The diffusion layer reduces the area of a black image by diffusing the light projected from the PR layer.
