PURPOSE: A method for controlling an electronic element of IC type is provided to perform authentication by using an authentication personalized key which is generated by making the inherent root key of an IC variously. CONSTITUTION: One ID data of the root key and an electric element is stored in a non-volatile memory of the electric element(E4'). A personal authentication key is generated inside the electronic element by making the root key variously with the ID data by responding to an initial first analog or a digital signal which is received from an IC(E61'). The root key is stored within electronic elements which are manufactured on the same silicon wafer. The ID data of the electronic element is the serial number of the electric element.
