<p>IN-GROUND IN-LINE ROAD WIND-TURBINE SYSTEMAn in-ground road wind-turbine system of capturing and converting wind energycreated by the motion of motor vehicles along a road surface using a plurality ofducts installed approximately flush with the road surface and parallel to the directionof the travel of the motor vehicles. Wind created by the vehicle drag is forced into theduct through a row of grilles mounted flush with the road surface, turning a row ofwind-turbines inside the duct to generate hydraulic energy which is converted to.electrical energy or to generate electrical energy.For an application of the present invention, please refer to Fig. 1.</p> |
