FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to the method to reduce levels of a group of higher harmonics, the following is achieved by extraction of their energy in the form of equivalent energy of sequence of unipolar, periodically repeating width-modulated current pulses, duration of which changes according to the law of change of envelope of current extracted from the power system, by means of a fully controlled PWM rectifier of transistor type, which is used to control a modulating signal, which was previously generated as a geometric difference: a signal proportional to a current of non-linear load, and a signal proportional to a current of harmonics of the main frequency. The current of the main frequency generated into the power system is shaped by means of extracted energy of the specified group of higher harmonics, by means of a signal proportional to it, the value of which, in its turn, is shaped proportionately to the difference in values of the following powers: a total power of higher harmonics extracted from a power system and a power of the main frequency harmonic generated into the power system. ^ EFFECT: reduction of equivalent power of higher harmonic components in the feeding power system. ^ 1 dwg |
