FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to object coated by photocatalyst that features high protective properties and may be used in outer coating materials. Proposed object comprises substrate and photocatalyst layer applied on said substrate. Photocatalyst layer comprises one weight part or more, and less than 20 weight parts of photocatalyst particles; 70 weight parts and less than 99 weight parts of inorganic oxide; and zero weight parts and less than 10 weight parts of hydrolyzable silicon.
