<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device capable of improving accuracy of map-matching. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle navigation device 100 comprises a camera 180 that takes an image of a feature on a road and outputs an image signal, a feature point extraction unit 113 that extracts a feature point being information representing a position where a characteristic feature exists from the image signal, a current position detector 170 that detects a current position of an own vehicle, a traveling track recording unit 114 that records a plurality of current positions respectively detected by the current position detector 170 at different moments as a traveling track of the own vehicle, and a feature point recording unit 115 that associates the feature point with one of the positions included in the traveling track and records the feature point, based on the position represented by the feature point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
