<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) i.e. cable shoe press, has an operating unit e.g. electrical linear motor, flanged on a fork-type structure (2), and compression pieces (4, 8) with press inserts (5, 9) received in the structure. One of the pieces with one of the inserts is moved within the structure relative to another piece with another insert. The respective inserts are interchanged as an interchangeable component for adaptation of different cross sections of the structure opposite to the other press insert.
