<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound in which a functional group having high reactivity is introduced into a bicyclic bis(γ-butyrolactone), a process for producing the same, a novel polyester obtained by copolymerizing the compound and an epoxy compound, and a process for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester includes a structure represented by formula (4) (wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is hydrogen or a substituted or nonsubstituted 1-12C hydrocarbon group; R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">6</SP>may be the same or different and each hydrogen, a hydroxyl group, a substituted or nonsubstituted 1-12C hydrocarbon group, an alkoxyl group or an aryloxy group; and R<SP POS="POST">7</SP>is a hydroxyl group, an aryloxy group, a substituted or nonsubstituted 1-12C hydrocarbon group or an alkoxyl group). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
