摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system realizing high heat efficiency without causing malfunctions in operation of a power generation unit even when a heat load fluctuates during operation. <P>SOLUTION: Hot water sent to the power generation unit 150 from a lower part of a hot water storage tank 14 is heated by power generation heat, and returned to an upper part of the hot water storage tank 14. Hot water sent from the hot water storage tank 14 to a burner part 68 and heated therein is used in heat exchange with a heating medium in a heat exchanger 114. The heating medium heated by the heat exchange is used in heating in a heating terminal unit 110. A return location of the hot water cooled by the heat exchange is changed in response to a temperature detected by a heat exchanger outlet thermistor 90. If the detected temperature is sufficiently high, the hot water is returned to the higher part of the hot water storage tank 14. If the detected temperature is sufficiently low, the hot water is returned to the lower part of the hot water storage tank 14.
