A method and an apparatus for controlling services are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention, wherein the method for controlling services includes that: a service control apparatus of the called User Equipment (UE) receives a call request for calling the called UE (11); when the called UE is in a state of not accepting call requests, the service control apparatus of the called UE notifies the service control apparatus of the calling UE, during the playback, of the state of the called UE to enable the service control apparatus of the calling UE to control services according to the state of the called UE (12). By notifying the service control apparatus of the calling UE of the state of the called UE during the playback, the method and the apparatus for controlling services in the present invention facilitate the service control apparatus of the calling UE to obtain the state of the called UE and implement control of corresponding services according to the state of the called UE. |
