PURPOSE: A novel silane coupling agent and a method for preparing the same are provided to improve binding force with metrix resin and to ensure storage stability. CONSTITUTION: A novel silane coupling agent is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1-R3 are independently (C1-C4) alkyl group of straight chain or branched chain; R4 is (C2-C20)alkylene group of straight chain or branched chain; and R5 is (C2-C6)alkylene group of straight chain or branched chain. A method for preparing the saline coupling agent comprises: a step of reacting a compound of chemical formula 2 and a compound of chemical formula 3 under the presence of an aromatic organic solvent, benzene.
