<p>The transmitter has an electronic component (11) to power a thermoelectric transducer, where the transmitter is partly extended into a process vessel (20) containing process fluid (21) whose temperature is to be measured. The transducer is fixed on a side of the vessel under force of a spring parallel to a thermal actuator arranged in a heat carrier (31). The temperature of the carrier is spanned within acceptable operating temperature range of the transducer by the actuator, where the actuator has a thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of the transducer.</p>
