The disclosed support structure for deck boards that cover a storage section (56) provided under the floor of a luggage compartment of a vehicle (10) includes a pair of long slide rails (14) on which third row seats (70) slide. The long slide rails (14) are provided above the storage section (56) and span thereacross so as to extend along the front-to-rear direction of the vehicle (10). A plurality of deck boards (80 to 82) are detachably supported by engagement stepped portions (18) of the long slide rails (14) and an engagement stepped portion (57) of the storage section (56).
