<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that reduces manpower and operation required for setting a parameter for carrying out a detection process. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has: an acquisition part that acquires a video; a superposition part that superposes an image on the video acquired by the acquisition part; and a detection part that detects the appearance of an object in a video in a detection region that is set on the video acquired by the acquisition part. The superposition part superposes an image corresponding to the size of the object, appearance of which is to be detected by the detection means, on the video in the detection region, and outputs the video after the superposition to the detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
