<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road sign body allowing a base portion and a columnar main body portion to be fixed easily and securely enough to stay fixed when contacted by a vehicle and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical main body has a hollow portion with a downward opening inside a cylindrical wall. A base has an upwardly projecting insertion portion that can be inserted into the hollow portion of the cylindrical main body. A fixing member having hooks outwardly projecting with downward inclination is attached to the outside of the insertion portion, which is inserted into the hollow portion of the main body to allow the hooks of the fixing member to bite into the inside of the cylindrical wall of the main body so that the main body is fixed to the base. Even when the main body is deformed at outside by contact with a vehicle and the like, the hooks further bite into the cylindrical wall of the main body without loosening the fixation of the main body and the base, preventing disengagement of the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
