摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease of a lifetime of a sliding component, since part of non-combustion fuel is not vaporized and adheres on an inner wall of a combustion chamber and thereby diluting oil film of an engine oil formed on the inner wall of the combustion chamber in a conventional post injection method. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device 11 is installed on an exhaust passage 26a of a compression ignition type multi-cylinder internal combustion engine 10, and is provided for purifying exhaust flowing in the exhaust passage 26a. The device includes: intake reduction means 22 and 23 for separately reducing an intake airflow of part of a predetermined cylinder; condition detector 18 and 34 for detecting a condition of a combustion chamber 10a of the predetermined cylinder, such as an internal pressure of cylinder and brightness of flame in the combustion chamber 10a; a determiner 33 for determining a condition of the exhaust emission control device 11, that is, necessity of regenerating process; and a controller 15k for controlling operations of the intake reduction means 22 and 23 according to the condition of the combustion chamber 10a of the predetermined cylinder which is detected by the condition detector 18 and 34, on the basis of the result determined by the determiner 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
