<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat resistance of a metallized film capacitor used for automobiles and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A first metallized film 1 in which a vapor-deposited metal electrode 6 is formed on one surface of a polypropylene film 4 and a second metallized film 2 in which a vapor-deposited metal electrode 12 is formed on a syndiotactic polystyrene film 10 are paired with each other. A metallized film capacitor comprises: an element obtained by overlapping and winding the pair of metallized films 1 and 2 so that the vapor-deposited metal electrodes 6 and 12 respectively formed on the metallized films 1 and 2 are faced with each other via the polypropylene film 4 or the syndiotactic polystyrene film 10; and metallikon electrodes 3a and 3b formed on both end faces of the element. With this structure, withstand current characteristics and heat resistance can be further improved while utilizing the features of the polypropylene film 4 excellent in temperature characteristics and frequency characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
