<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel, capable of securing strength of fixing a striker bar even when the capacity of a glove box is large, and capable of improving the durability of the top periphery of the opening of the instrument panel body to which the glove box is attached. <P>SOLUTION: In the instrument panel in which the opening 11 to which the glove box 3 is attached is formed in the instrument panel body 9, and the striker bar 34 for engaging the engaging part of a locking mechanism of the glove box 3 is disposed in the periphery of the opening 11, a striker bracket 29 configured by fixing the striker bar 34 to the upper piece 31 of a gate-shaped bracket body 30 is attached to the top periphery 11J of the opening 11 and the upper side of the edges 11S on both sides of the opening 11 through a gate-shaped cover 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
